Alessia Bertaiola farms 14 hectares (10 planted to vines) just south of Lake Garda in Bardolino-land. Her husband Stefano’s family has farmed this land for three generations. When Stefano and Alessia took over the estate in 2007, they quickly converted to biodynamic farming practices. Most vines are 60+ years old and planted in soils that have loads of marine deposits from when the area was a sea. They do not add anything to their wines and do not filter or fine.
