Les Vins de Lavie (Guillaume Lavie and
Adèle Lemoine)

Muscadet, Loire Valley, France

Imported by Camille Rivière

From Camille Rivière: Guillaume was born in 1984, he discovered natural wine in Ardèche, worked in Burgundy, had his own domaine in the Bugey (but that fell through because the vinyeards he looked after were taken over by the family that owned them), then worked in Savoie (but could not find a facility) & has now set roots in Muscadet (he is from Guérande in Britany & his wife from Saumur). This is their second vintage, first as owners of the vineyard in Muscadet, all the vinyeards are being converted to organic farming, all the wines are unfined, unfiltered, & there is (usually) no added sulfur. These wines drink like rain water and have a strong resistance to oxygen. I have been looking for these for the past 10 years.
