The Cellario family (helmed by Cinzia and Fausto) farms or helps farm about 30 hectares of vines using organic practices and incorporating some biodynamics as well. They focus on showing off the historically significant (including those that are often overlooked) varieties in the Piedmont and keeping their family and community involved in the traditions of the winery and the region. Their slogan is “wine and fun” and “Drink Genuine.” Wines are made using indigenous yeasts, aren’t fined or filtered, and only occasionally have sulfites added, a small amount at bottling if so.
